ASD & ADHD
Neurodiversity is a big topic in the mental health world. It’s the way our brains are wired rather than being something that is bad. Neurodiversity, being different wiring means that we often need different approaches to how we work with the things you might be finding difficult!
We call this neuroaffirming intervention.
This is always tailored to you personally as well as the things you might experience as an ADHD’er or Autistic person, can still be different from the next ADHD’er or Autistic person. Some more common things you might experience that we work with in the neurodiverse world are:
Social skills
Planning and organisation
Emotional/ sensory regulation
Working in a world made for neuro typical’s
Advocacy for change/ how to advocate for your needs
And much more!
