    Important Note: You cannot request information to be excluded from your practitioner's clinical file. If you do not wish for your personal information to be collected as outlined in this Privacy Policy, we may not be able to provide services to you.

    Please also be aware that the general principles of privacy can be waved if failure to disclose information places yourself or another person at risk. If you are deemed a risk of suicide or harming another individual, your practitioner holds a duty of care and is required to disclose relevant information to reduce/prevent risk of harm.

    • If your legal representative seeks information, we will not release any information without your written consent

    14. Record Types and Maintenance

    Administrative Records

    Maintained by The LifeBridge Network and include:

    • Referring doctor information

    • Compliance information (contacts with medical practitioners, lawyers, insurance companies)

    Clinical Records:

    Maintained by your treating practitioner and include:

    • Current personal concerns and family history

    • Psychological and medical symptoms

    • Assessment results and treatment notes

    • Other relevant information needed for psychological assessment and treatment

    Both administrative and clinical records are maintained in accordance with Australian Psychological Society ethical guidelines and Australian Privacy Principles.

    We do not routinely transfer personal information overseas. If international transfer is necessary, we will:

    • Obtain your consent where required

    • Ensure adequate privacy protections are in place

    • Comply with Australian privacy law requirements

    16. Children and Young People

    We take special care with information about children and young people:

    • We obtain appropriate consent from parents/guardians

    • We consider the child's capacity to understand and consent

  • The LifeBridge Network understands situations can arise in which you must cancel your appointment. Due to limited availability, we request that you cancel with adequate notice. You may cancel by contacting us via thelifebridgenetwork@outlook.com or through text at 0422 768 815.

    We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellation of your appointment. 

    The cancellation fee incurred will be the total cost of your appointment if cancelled within the 24 hour period.

  • Terms and Conditions for Psychology Services of The LifeBridge Network

    Introduction

    1. These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") govern the provision of psychology services (hereinafter referred to as "Services") by The LifeBridge Network, an Australian registered business, located online. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, we may not be able to provide our Services.

    Services Provided

    1. The LifeBridge Network offers psychology services, including but not limited to individual therapy, group sessions, counselling, and psychological assessments. The specific services provided will be discussed and agreed upon between the client and the psychologist.

    Client-Psychologist Relationship

    1.  The client- Psychologist relationship will be bound by all relevant Australian Legislation and AHPRA requirements

    2. ​The client- Psychologist relationship is built on trust, respect, and confidentiality. Information shared during sessions will be treated with utmost confidentiality, except in cases where disclosure is required by law or there is a risk of harm to the client or others.

    3. The psychologist's role is to provide professional guidance and support. The client's commitment to actively engage in the therapeutic process is essential for achieving positive outcomes.

    Appointments

    1.  Appointments are scheduled based on mutual availability. Clients are encouraged to arrive on time for their sessions.

    2. ​Cancellations or rescheduling of appointments must be done at least 24 hours or 1 days in advance. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee as outlined in the cancellation policy. Additionally, clients will only be charged a late fee for no shows, if they do not attend the appointment. The Psychologist commits to waiting 15-20mins as a grace period.

    3. Clients will be notified of their appointments within this time frame, however, acknowledge that it is their responsibility to adhere to these times, or inform the clinician of any changes

    Fees and Payments

    1.  Fees for Services will be discussed and agreed upon prior to the commencement of therapy.

    2. ​Payment is due at the end of each session, unless alternative arrangements have been made

    3. ​The clinician will send an invoice that is to be paid

    4. The client will also receive reminders to pay this fee

    5. If the client requires, please consult your clinician if you are experiencing financial hardship and a payment plan will be discussed with you

    Privacy and Confidentiality

    1.  Client information shared during sessions will be kept confidential, except in cases where mandated by law or when there is a risk of harm.

    2. The LifeBridge Network adheres to privacy laws and regulations in Australia.

    3. ​Privacy will be upheld to all relevant legislation/s and AHPRA requirements

    Intellectual Property

    1. All materials provided as part of the Services, including written resources and tools, are the intellectual property of The LifeBridge Network. Clients are not permitted to reproduce, distribute, or use these materials for commercial purposes without written consent.

    Limitation of Liability

    1. The LifeBridge Network and its psychologists shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, losses, or injuries arising from the use of our Services. This includes any emotional distress or harm resulting from the therapeutic process.

    2. The LifeBridge Network will maintain all relevant insurances to protect the company from any liabilities

    Governing Law and Jurisdiction

    1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the relevant state.

    Changes to Terms

    1.  The LifeBridge Network reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the Services will indicate acceptance of the modified Terms.
