Terms and Conditions for Psychology Services of The LifeBridge Network

Introduction

These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") govern the provision of psychology services (hereinafter referred to as "Services") by The LifeBridge Network, an Australian registered business, located online. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using our Services.
Services Provided

The LifeBridge Network offers psychology services, including but not limited to individual therapy, group sessions, counselling, and brief psychological assessments. The specific services provided will be discussed and agreed upon between the client and the psychologist.
Client-Counsellor Relationship

The client- counsellor relationship will be bound by all relevant Australian Legislation and AHPRA requirements

​The client-counsellor relationship is built on trust, respect, and confidentiality. Information shared during sessions will be treated with utmost confidentiality, except in cases where disclosure is required by law or there is a risk of harm to the client or others.

The psychologist's role is to provide professional guidance and support. The client's commitment to actively engage in the therapeutic process is essential for achieving positive outcomes.

Appointments

Appointments are scheduled based on mutual availability. Clients are encouraged to arrive on time for their sessions.

​Cancellations or rescheduling of appointments must be done at least 48 hours or 2 days in advance. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee as outlined in the cancellation policy. Additionally, clients will only be charged a late fee for no shows, and or cancellations after confirming the appointment.

Clients will be notified of their appointments within this time frame, however, acknowledge that it is their responsibility to adhere to these times, or inform the clinician of any changes
Fees and Payments

Fees for Services will be discussed and agreed upon prior to the commencement of therapy.

​Payment is due at the end of each session, unless alternative arrangements have been made

​The clinician will send an invoice that is to be paid

The client will also receive reminders to pay this fee

If the client requires, please consult your clinician if you are experiencing financial hardship and a payment plan will be discussed with you
Privacy and Confidentiality

Client information shared during sessions will be kept confidential, except in cases where mandated by law or when there is a risk of harm.

The LifeBridge Network adheres to privacy laws and regulations in Australia.

​Privacy will be upheld to all relevant legislation/s and AHPRA requirements
Intellectual Property

All materials provided as part of the Services, including written resources and tools, are the intellectual property of The LifeBridge Network. Clients are not permitted to reproduce, distribute, or use these materials for commercial purposes without written consent.

Limitation of Liability

The LifeBridge Network and its psychologists shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, losses, or injuries arising from the use of our Services. This includes any emotional distress or harm resulting from the therapeutic process.

The LifeBridge Network will maintain all relevant insurances to protect the company from any liabilities
Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of NSW, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.
Changes to Terms

The LifeBridge Network reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the Services will indicate acceptance of the modified Terms.
